Ever buy something at the grocery store to try it at home, and not like it? There's no reason to waste money on unwanted food. Whole Foods Market has a policy where customers can try anything before they buy it. This ranges from produce (ask an associate to slice an apple or pear for you), deli meats and cheeses and even pre-packaged food (the opened box or bag will be used for sampling purposes). If you do buy something and have a change of heart, Whole Foods has a no-questions-asked return policy. Just be sure to keep your receipt.

If you park your car in a garage -- at home or in an underground structure -- keep your windows rolled up. Closed parking structures have poor ventilation, so fertilizers, paint fumes and other chemicals can build up inside. Since there's nowhere to vent, these chemicals can contaminate the interior of your car if your windows are down. When you are home, leave the garage door open to ventilate, and when you do drive, roll down the windows and let it vent out for at least 1 mile of driving.
