Dry cleaners use plastic bags on freshly cleaned clothes to make sure they don't get stained in transit. When you get your clothes home, don't store them in the bag. Since the bags are airtight, moisture can get trapped inside and create a breeding ground for odor and mildew. And if you reuse the bags to cover clothes, stains can oxidize, which makes them impossible to clean in the future. Instead, remove the bags and recycle them in the same recycling bins that accept plastic shopping bags.
