It's easy to send an e-card to celebrate someone's birthday, and you know it'll get to the recipient, wherever they are in the world. If you're going to send a digital greeting card, why not send one that helps preserve threatened lands? The Nature Conservancy has an e-card program that lets you pick a beautiful scenic card, a personalized message and make a donation to the nonprofit in any amount you want. Your card will give back to important conservation work in a few easy steps. Your donation is tax-deductible, too. Choose from scenic landscapes, wildlife images and more. Learn more at nature.org.

Natural sugar can do more than make your coffee sweet. For grass-stained clothes, try making a sugar paste to lift the stains out of the fabric. Simply make a thick paste with white sugar and warm water. Apply the mixture to the stain, rub it in gently and let the paste sit for at least an hour. The sticky mixture will absorb the grass stain naturally, and since there are no fats or lipids in sugar, it will easily wash out in a normal wash cycle.

Did you know coral reefs in the ocean do more than provide habitat for aquatic wildlife? Life-saving medicines have been found in coral reefs that help combat cancer and other diseases. One way to help protect coral reefs from harm is to take small actions at home and when you travel near oceans. If you snorkel, don't touch the reefs, and do not anchor a boat anywhere near them, too. At home, choose organic and eco-friendly fertilizers for your lawn and garden. Even if you live far away from an ocean, chemical fertilizers can still get into water and travel into the ocean, which can dramatically impact coral reefs.
