Who knew? Baby oil is a gentle and effective bathroom cleaner. Dab some oil onto a cloth and use it to polish chrome fixtures like faucets and showerheads. Use the same cloth to remove soap scum and watermarks on glass shower doors -- it will leave the doors sparkling clean, and the light film of oil will prevent them for getting dirty.

Here's the easiest Do Just One Thing that comes to mind: Use revolving doors when visiting stores and office buildings. When you have the choice, go with rotating doors because they help keep heat and air conditioning in the building. Using a regular door can create a vacuum effect, forcing outside air into the store, causing the system to work harder and less efficiently. Choosing a rotating door is an easy and green thing you can do every day.

Microwaves are a convenient and energy-efficient way to cook and heat up leftovers. But when using a microwave, opt to use only microwave-safe glass or ceramic containers to cook in, even if a plastic container is marked microwave safe. Plastics with that marking mean they can withstand heat up to a certain temperature. If you're cooking something on high for an extended period of time, the plastic containers can still lose their shape and could possibly leach chemicals into your food.
