Here's a simple way to upcycle a grocery store bag into a Halloween treat tote: Just paint the entire outside of a brown paper bag with chalkboard paint. Then the kids can customize the front with chalk and draw whatever they want on it, like ghosts or a scary BOO!

This Halloween, instead of buying your kids face paints, some of which have been found to contain toxic ingredients like lead, try using cosmetics-grade makeup like lipsticks; they come in all sorts of shades.
