Don't waste your money buying organic spirits at the liquor store because you think they're better for you. Organic spirits, like rum and vodka, have no added health benefits. In fact, the entire distillation process removes all traces of any chemicals that may have been there from pesticides. One good reason to buy organic spirits, however, is that the raw materials are grown in a sustainable way.

Of all the produce items that should be purchased organic, grapes would definitely top the list. They are heavily sprayed and the skin is almost always eaten, making organic a more appealing choice. Consider buying organic raisins too, which are made from dehydrated grapes. Conventional grapes made into raisins could have high levels of residual pesticides, so choosing organic is the only way to make sure you're getting the cleanest choice.

Is it possible to recycle a cardboard pizza box? Yes and no. If the box has melted cheese and grease all over it, throw it in the trash. If it's clean, recycle away. A greasy box should never be recycled because it can contaminate a load of recyclable cardboard, causing way more harm than good. When in doubt, toss it out.
