We all know we shouldn't leave our cell phone charger in the wall when it's not charging anything because it still uses power. So take the extra step to unplug other rechargeable items from the wall when they're fully charged, like electric toothbrushes, shavers, cordless drills and battery rechargers for items like digital cameras. Not only will this save energy; it will help extend the life of the rechargeable battery.
