While perfectly mowed lawns, pin-straight trees, and weed-free fields may seem like the ideal yard, it does lack any necessary resources for a wildlife-rich ecosystem. A fallen tree, an unmowed patch of grass, and even decomposing logs provide needed nutrients and habitat for all sorts of creatures. Try to leave an area as wild as possible in your own yard.

Listen up tea drinkers; here's an easy beauty treatment that's spot on: When your tea bags are done seeping your cup of tea, set them aside to cool. Then place the bags on your eyes for several minutes, relaxing and enjoying the soothing compounds in tea that will help reduce the appearance of puffiness and dry skin around the eyes.

Set aside one day a week to do most of your shopping. Instead of running errands every day, pick a day of the week when you can plan on getting almost everything you need for the week. By making a weekly list, you may find multiple items can be found at the same store -- rather than revisiting that store several times during the week. Plus, shopping doesn't become a mindless activity, but a scheduled activity with real purpose.
