When planting a tree in your yard, be sure to choose one that's appropriate for your part of the country and property type. Some fast-growing trees may grow too large and will need to be cut down if, for instance, they disrupt your home's foundation or electrical lines. And some trees will be more difficult to grow or are prone to disease. When in doubt, ask an expert at your local landscaping center to make recommendations for you.

Drinking bottled water may seem like the only choice when traveling, especially when public drinking water may seem questionable and carrying reusable bottles full of water through airport security is forbidden. Bring your reusable bottle and fill it up at soda fountain stations at fast food restaurants; they have a "water" option and filter it before dispensing.
