After Halloween is over, recycle those spooky pumpkins into something tasty for wildlife. Crack open a pumpkin with a hammer and leave it outside; wild animals and birds will enjoy the tasty flesh and seeds. Or bury large chunks of it in the ground by shrubs; come springtime, it'll degrade naturally and become beneficial compost for the plants.

Insert the smallest drill bit in your cordless drill and make tiny holes all over the top of a pumpkin. Insert bamboo skewers (the ones used to make kebabs in the summertime) and poke Halloween treats on top. Voila! You've created an instant serving piece for your Halloween party.

When storing your free-range, organic eggs in the refrigerator, don't store them in the fridge door. Eggs can get too warm there. The best bet is to keep them in their cardboard carton and place them on a shelf, farther back in the fridge. Also, look for certified organic eggs only. An egg labeled "all-natural" means nothing because all eggs are made by nature.
