One of my favorite ways to wrap a present is to use gift wrap that's also a gift itself. Many stores have inexpensive reusable bags for sale with extra long handles. Just tie the handles into a knot and then add a pretty bow for a nice touch. It's easy. It's green. It looks great, too.

If you have to print out documents, make sure you don't waste any paper. Opt for double printing on the front and back side of the paper before you hit PRINT. To do this, many laser printers offer a function that lets you choose "double-sided printing" for all your documents. It can be as simple as a click of the mouse to reduce your paper usage in half.

One simple way to insulate single pane windows for the harsh winter months is to look no further than bubble wrap. The insulating properties of bubble wrap can actually double the efficiency of windows, and it couldn't be any easier to do. Just fill a spray bottle with water and cover the entire window with a fine mist. Cut bubble wrap to size and place on top of the glass. That's it. It'll stick for as long as you want, and you can easily remove it when you no longer need it.
