Landsmann began her career as a classroom teacher and holds vast editorial experience as former president of Time For Kids, editor and publisher of Instructor and director of Harcourt Brace Children's books. Recognizing her great contributions to the industry, Landsmann was inducted into the EdPress Hall of Fame, educational publishing's highest honor. She currently serves on the boards of the U.S. Committee for UNICEF, greatschools.org and PENCIL (Public Education Needs Civic Involvement in Learning). Landsmann also speaks on education topics to the media, and to parent, teacher and business groups.
