Many of us consider our dogs and cats extended members of our family. Take extra care to keep wine away from animals -- it can cause illness and even coma. Don't leave burning candles unattended: Kittens are attracted to the flickering flames. And if you have a dog that makes a habit of drinking out of the toilet, use non-toxic cleaning products in the bathroom.
