Keep drafts at bay by using a pair of old jeans. Simply cut off the legs of the jeans and fill them with loose, clean pebbles or dried beans. (Kids' jeans and slim jeans work best.) Stitch the ends with a needle and thread and place these denim draft dodgers along the edges of doors and windows to keep cold air out.

An easy way to conserve water is to turn off the shower when you use the soap. Shut off the shower when you lather up from head to toe so the soap has a chance to suds up. Then turn the shower back on to rinse off. This way you can save water and make a habit of it without really trying.

With honeybee populations decreasing all over the United States, known as colony collapse disorder, their vital role in keeping natural pollination of fruits, flowers and vegetables is affected. Eating honey is one tasty way to help do your part.
