Germs and bacteria usually lurk in the areas that we are in constant contact all day long, like our cell phones and computer keyboards. One way to clean them is to moisten a Q-tip with hydrogen peroxide and wipe the surfaces clean, in between keys on a keyboard or all over the surface on the phone. Allow to air dry and then it's back to work!

As the weather gets warmer and insects make their way into our homes, one way to stop them in their tracks is to remove any trace of potential food sources for them. This includes pantry staples like cookies, crackers, chips and other snack foods that, when opened, could be a feast for little creatures. Make a habit of putting opened snack bags, boxes and containers into the fridge and not back in the pantry; only keep tightly sealed items in there at all times.

Simply wrap the top of mixing bowls (when proofing dough) or when you have leftovers. The elastic around the cap will keep it snuggly wrapped around the bowl and in place.
