After a rain storm, it's best to slow down for your safety and to watch out for wild animals that may unknowingly run into the streets. And at night, keep alert by lowering the lights on your dashboard display so you can get a clearer view of what's going on outside; it may help you avoid getting into an accident.

The next time you enjoy a pint of ice cream, save the container and wash it out thoroughly. Use it to store valuables -- cash, jewelry, anything of value to you -- the next time you leave your home for an extended period of time. Leave it inside the freezer. It'll look just like a pint of ice cream and no one will know to look inside it in the worst case scenario.

Expired vitamins shouldn't be ingested by humans, but they also don't have to be tossed into the trash. Mix whatever vitamins you might have into the soil of a houseplant or in your garden. Every time you water, the vitamins will slowly dissolve and may add vital nutrients back to the soil, giving your plants a boost.
