It’s important to take efforts to make sure our feathered friends avoid colliding with windows at our homes. When placing a birdbath or a bird feeder outside, keep it at least 30 feet away from windows. This is the minimum length to prevent confusing reflections in the window. You can also cover the outside of the window with one-way transparent film; it lets you see outside, but it creates an opaque finish on the outside.
