If you've switched out your shampoo and body wash because they're laden with chemicals like sodium lauryl sulfate, there's no need to toss them into the trash when you can use them to get other things around the house squeaky clean. Here are a few ideas: Spot treat yellow stains around the collars and armpits in white shirts with shampoo a few hours before washing. Fill a bucket with warm water and a capful of shampoo or body wash and use it to mop your wood and laminate floors. If you want your toilet sparkling clean, squeeze a little body wash into the bowl, scrub and flush away the grime and dirt.
