Liliana Gundlach
Lily Salazar Gundlach graduated from the University of Houston in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in French. She has taught high school Spanish and math. Her parents are from Mexico and her married name is German. She and her husband, Jason, welcomed their first child in January 2004. Still, she's not quite over getting a tattoo in Salt Lake City when she was 24.

Her take: "I was born the same year that Elvis died. My parents are from Mexico, but they now live in Houston. With all the notitas I wrote in college, algo tuve que haber aprendido sobre relationships, familia y religion. The best advice I could give a 20-year-old? Don't get a tattoo that's in plain view!"

Catherine Jagers
Catherine Jagers graduated from Southern Methodist University in May 2003 with a degree in psychology and Spanish. She currently works full time teaching Spanish at a high school in Richardson, Texas. (If she had another job, she'd be a traveling salsa dancer.) Her mother is from Bogota, Colombia, and her father is from New Jersey.

Her take: "Ever since I can remember, I have had friends coming to me for every kind of advice imaginable. You may be asking, 'Why do your amigos come to you with their problems?' In my humble opinion, I am able to see the issue at hand and truly speak to the heart of the problem in a way that a person can understand. I am told that I am sensitive, accepting and can give advice with flair. I also lead a life of example. I want to hold myself and others to a higher standard. I really have a passion for hearing about people's lives and helping them work through emotional, spiritual and financial struggles."

Daniel Ramirez
Danny Ramirez received a bachelor's degree in political science with a concentration in ethnic politics from St. Mary's University in San Antonio in 1990. A native of El Paso, Texas, Danny's full-time job is in sales for a ground transportation and logistics company. He's also the self-proclaimed "King of the Quinceañeras," having participated in 15 in his formative years.

His take: "I was raised on arroz and beans, stories about el cucui y la mano negra, and the mandatory Christmas Tamalada. My childhood memories are filled with joyful times and challenging experiences. I crave government cheese to this day and am addicted to nachos - can you believe it? I make it home for Mother's Day every year and depend on Telemundo to keep my Spanish at its best."
